The mission of the Asian Community Development Council (ACDC) is to improve the general well-being and education of the Asian, Pacific Islander and other ethnic communities in Nevada. The ACDC will promote, foster, champion and advocate for Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders in the greater Nevada Community.

Established in 1956, the Clark County School District (CCSD) is the number one choice for families and students. As the nation’s fifth-largest school district, we educate 305,000 students – offering a variety of nationally recognized programs, including Magnet Schools, Career and Technical Academies, and Advanced Placement programs. CCSD educates 64 percent of the students in Nevada and works closely with community partners and business leaders to educate students to compete in a global economy.

Since 1971, the College of Southern Nevada has grown to become a leading education institution being the 5th largest college of its type in the country. Organized August 14, 2007, The Las Vegas Ward 5 Chamber of Commerce is a private, non-profit voluntary organization dedicated to the growth and progress of the community. Together, the business and professional men and women of the Chamber promote the civic, commercial and industrial development of our community. The area's economic well being is directly related to the caliber of work that is done by the Ward 5 Chamber. We are restoring Historic Harrison House for use as a model green home. Harrison House was built in 1942 as a home for famous entertainers during segregation in Las Vegas. Harrison House is managed by African American military veterans.
